Description
At odds with a system that deems him ‘incompetent,’ Peter finds his ambitions hindered by the repressive oversight of his biological father, who is only interested in one thing—the settlement money. With his mother dying of AIDS, he must rely on his sister, two closest friends, and an enigmatic financial advisor who helps him navigate the thrilling world of investments and venture capitalism. With an uncanny sense of the future and a gift for programming, he launches a gaming company with his two closest friends. Their success fuels his continued investment in the burgeoning technology sector.
With his native girlfriend at his side, they venture forth, finding peace and fellowship among the unpretentious Apache natives of central Arizona, who welcome him and Kathy as their own. Determined to repay their friendship in kind, he becomes enmeshed in the bitter politics aimed at thwarting their independence from the system that enslaved them. Along the way, he meets a colorful cast of characters who help to shape him into the powerful figure he will one day become.
